January Top Pick For Tuesday

We made it to another year, and now it is time to get this season of the beginning started off with love and positive vibes.

Let’s eat healthier and be better than last year, even with higher food prices. Get creative and budget, don’t let the negative life attach to you.

Walk in nature, grow your own food in portable pods. It can be done, also coupon and shop sales.

Remember Food Is A Joy

The only blues you should have are in your hair and on your clothes. The winter can impact your mood some, but look at the winter beauty and be thankful for your life and stay positive in your mind and heart.

January weather affects us all differently depending on where you live. Most of us need a heavy coat ,but those who live in warm Clements need a lighter coat.

In Texas we need all types of coats ,we never know what will blow in on us.

Its a little chilly and windy out,so grab those coats when you hit the streets today.

I styled this back in 2018 for fall can you believe it,but a good trench never goes out of style.

Wearing bold colors this winter to work or for other daily challenges should not be a problem. Having the right style that fits your lifestyle and supports your confidence should be a priority in your wardrobe.

Add in a little print design to your winter dress, make sure your purse and boots match.

Cold Weather Work Coats

Cold Weather Work Coats

When it’s cold we want to stay warm of course, but in the workplace, your coat should work for you and not against you. Choosing cold weather coats can be tricky, just like finding cold weather shoes.

Rebecca’s Tips on Picking Cold Weather Coats For Work.

1. Your coat should match your work environment. Meaning an attorney does not need a bulky heavy, and unstylish coat in the courtroom. A receptionist should not have a formal coat unless she works in a formal environment.

2. Don’t get a coat that works against you, like a coat with no texture, form or style.

3. Be budget conscious, you don’t have to spend $$$ on a good quality coat. Take advantage of sales and resale shops.

4. It’s okay to have more than one cold weather coat. Get one for rainy/sleet weather. One for snow and one for wind. And if you are in the area for blizzard get an Eskimo Jacket, LOL. But keep your area and environment in mind.

5. If you work in a more formal public area get a coat that can be diverse in your wardrobe, meaning a coat that can compliment your shoes.

Dark and solid colors are great for blending.
