What is the difference between boots and booties?

The height of the boot length above the ankles allows a boot to be a boot and a bootie to be a bootie.When you are deciding if you need to wear a boot or bootie always keep in mind of the length and type of pants you will be wearing, and then make your choice.

Booties is a term used to describe those cute little shoes that don’t come above your ankle or in other words, ankle boots.
